Go see it!! We saw it this afternoon and were really impressed! The humor. The story. The animation. God, the renders and design. All super good and very refreshing. In a time when animated films haven't quite fulfilled my hopes, Cloudy restores my outlook towards the potential for creative distinction in animated films. Kudos to everyone involved in this project!

A visit to Slovakia

Amila and I just got back from a trip to Slovakia! Ho wow, that place is amazing. Thank you Andy, Mom and Grandma and the rest of my Slovak family for making our trip such a wonderful experience. During our visit we were amazed at the amount of advertising we saw for IA3 everywhere we went. I swear it's at least three times the amount of advertising I've seen over here.

It's Buck!

Here's a new trailer for the IA3 that introduces a new character named Buck. He was a real treat to animate. His wacky personality gave him a lot of range and made him one of my favorite characters to work with. Wow, July 1st is right around the corner!

Well it's official, today Fox has sent out a press release announcing our next project! We're currently busy in pre production on Rio. I'm really excited about this project and can't wait to share more info about it. But until then, here's a link to the press release!

So like Amila said, our blog disappeared there for a while. Not sure what happened to it really. But just like Travis was abducted by aliens and mysteriously disappeared in Fire in the Sky, our blog returns, kinda similar on the surface, but a changed person on the inside. Kinda nervous. Sorta twitchy. But never the less, back. It has much to share of its journey, but in due time, the healing happens first. Patience, sit down, have a sip of that watered down cocoa as we sit together staring across the campfire together at our old friend, the blog.

Alright..now this is just weird...I kid you not...as soon as I hit "post comment", my old blog re-appeared on our site. What the-?! Makes no sense. I think we're going to give blogger a go anyway...

Well, it appears that our old blog is dead and gone. *tear* I don't know what happened to it...it just up and disappeared one day... Unfortunately, we really don't have the time to troubleshoot it right now. So, we decided to simply start a new blog. This time, we're going to try using blogger like all of the other cool cats out there. Yay!
It may be a while before we actually manage to post anything simply because we are in the middle of crunch on Ice age 3... but in 7 more weeks, we should have a bit more time.
